​Fall Protection in the Brewing Industry

Abstract
Never has safety been more integral in the brewing industry than it is today. As the number of breweries and corresponding production rates grow, the potential for injuries to employees grows as well. Falls from heights remain a major cause of injury in the workplace, and the brewing industry is no exception. This article attempts to provide information on preventing injuries from falls through a review of applicable OSHA standards and real-world solutions to fall prevention. This article, combined with the proper education, training, equipment, and investment by the employer, could help to prevent injuries from falls in the brewing industry.
