The meaning of quality control and the presentation of results

Abstract
In this paper, a number of suggestions are made as to where quality control activities should be directed, and how the effort should be deployed. A section is devoted to methods of presentation of results, and different statistical methods are reviewed. The use that can be made of pictorial displays in selling the idea quality control is also discussed.
