A practical and profitable disposal of brewery waste products

Abstract
It has been found possible to release a brewery effluent acceptable to municipal waste disposal plants by devising a new and ingenious type of sludge-settling tank. The tank is used in conjunction with an emulsified chlorinated hydrocarbon that delays rancidity and putrefaction through its ability to inhibit the growth of spoiler organisms.
