Quality control of beer bottles in Canada

Abstract
A description is given of the quality control procedures used to inspect bottles produced for the 1961-63 industry-wide change over to a standard returnable bottle. Included are details of the defects being sought by an independent inspection company and the statistical sampling plan that is employed. Reference is also made to the preparation of a specification and quality control procedure manual which is available from the Brewers Association of Canada.
