Safety in the brewery.

Abstract
The discussion focusses on a perspective of safety and suggests a framework which could be used to compare or expand existing plant programmes. The generalisation that safety is a people problem is discussed from both the physical activities involved and the critical mental attitudinal factors which go to make up the framework. A check list of activities initiated, developed and sustained by management, is described as a means to positively affect the attitudinal side of the framework.
