Wort Boiling - Innovations With Impact on Product Quality and Plant Efficiency

Abstract
Selecting the technical components of a new wort boiling plant, technological as well as economical force and the possibility of energy saving, must be taken into consideration. Directions for environmental protection require a special know-how for the design and construction of the relevant boiling plants. The synthesis of technic, technology, economy and environmental protection is required. The deciding factors when talking about a new wort boiling system are in different parts of this world driven by different causes. In Europe, for example, the increasing energy prices in the last decades have forced the brewer to rethink the process of wort boiling with the aim to reduce the consumption of primary energy. Other reasons for changing existing wort boiling systems are to be seen in environmental issues. For wort boiling as such, however, the objectives are still the same and can be summarized as follows.

Para hervir el mosto como tal sinembargo, los objetivosson todavia los mismos y pueden ser resumidos como sigue.
