Abstract
The use of modern hop products requires careful consideration and certain aspects can only be determined by practical application in specific products and in the brewing plant pertinent to individual companies and their intrinsic operating procedures. Some practical guidelines are presented that have been found to be valuable in maintaining product consistency and ease of use for pre-isomerized hop pellets including the use of products derived from hop varieties usually regarded for use as aroma hops (with consequent gain of bittering potential from the utilized alpha acids of these aroma varieties).
Keywords: preisomerized hop pellets, hop utilization, preceived bitterness
