Abstract
Brewing Research International (BRI) has undertaken an independent evaluation of the BLM 2000 unit, to test its effectiveness at keeping beer dispense lines relatively clear of biofilm and to extend the time required between standard chemical cleaning procedures. Comparative experimental data from a line fitted with a BLM 2000 and a separate control line suggested that levels of beer spoilage organisms were reduced and that the development of biofilm was retarded in the line fitted with the BLM 2000.

Sntesis
