Master Brewers is an volunteer-led organization built on the support and interaction of our brewing community. By leveraging our association's technical resources and the knowledge of our members, we grow our professional expertise while strengthening the broader industry.
Why Volunteer?
Members choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons, which include:
- Trying a new role or developing a new skill
- Making business connections and friends within the industry
- Adding valuable, relevant industry experience to your resume
- Being a part of something bigger
How Can I Help?
You can choose the area you want to volunteer in, and all current members are welcome to participate! We enjoy hearing new voices in our
committees and
local districts to ensure we're serving growing and changing the needs of all of our members. From assisting with
Brewery Safety resources to working on
podcast content or
bylaws, there are a variety of opportunities to meet a variety of interests.
Current Need
Scholarship Reviewers
We need about 4 additional members to serve on the Scholarship Committee to review and rank scholarship applications in April and late July – early August. Sign up by January 28, 2025.
How Much Time Do I Need To Dedicate?
Volunteer positions can range in scope from short, several month-long, focused projects to longer positions with specified, yearly terms. Volunteers attend and participate in relevant meetings and work on charges as specified by the
Executive Committee. The level of commitment needed to volunteer can be determined by how much time you are able to contribute and the volunteer role you choose.
Master Brewers Strength Depends on the Involvement of Our Members!
