Webinar Summary
In this webinar, Oliver Meinhold delves into the critical role of cleanliness in brewing and explores the intricacies of process hygiene across different brewery sizes and products.
Key to understanding CIP is the Sinner Circle, which outlines the four essential parameters of cleaning: concentration, temperature, time, and mechanics. By adjusting these parameters, breweries can tailor their cleaning processes to meet specific needs, optimizing water, chemical, and energy usage.
Webinar participants gain insights into how these cleaning principles apply to breweries of various scales and how to adapt cleaning protocols accordingly. Whether you are managing a small craft brewery or a large-scale production facility, this webinar equips you with the knowledge to refine and scale your cleaning practices effectively.
Attendees will learn
- The basic theory of cleaning and the four parameters of cleaning.
- The fact that the mechanics of cleaning is the least variable factor but often is the cause of a problem.
- Factors that need to be considered and adjusted when upscaling from a small to a mid-size or large facility.
- An introduction to automation by measuring and controlling the cycles with the help of sensors and a PLC system.
