The Japanese beer industry has taken a pioneering step by introducing
German technology, and it has been making great developments in brewing
technology to achieve better quality and higher production efficiency
to meet the needs of increased consumption and saving energy. More
recently, a raft of cutting-edge products have been developed owing to
the local unique Liquor Tax laws. For instance, products that do not use
malt, and those that have health benefits such as low or no alcohol,
low carbohydrates, and zero purine. Japanese brewing engineers have been
making a dramatic impact toward achieving fully sustainable and
innovative growth.
