Join us for a tour of Schaefer’s Atlanta headquarters to learn what it takes to turn stainless steel sheets into the kegs you use every day. Tour participants will experience all the steps in the Schaefer process in branding your packaging to send out into the market, from embossing chimes and silkscreening to chemical etching and valve repair. The tour will also touch on proper keg care and maintenance and what goes into the refurbishment process for your valves and spears. The tour will depart Schaefer Containers after a quick taste of some of their partners’ beers from the Kegnology Center! From Schaefer Containers, we’ll head to Monday Night Brewing for lunch and a tour of the brewery. We will then visit one or two additional breweries as we make our way back to the hotel. Transportation to and from the Atlanta Marriott Marquis will be provided.

Located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta, SweetWater Brewing Co. is not to be missed! As tour participants, you will first be greeted in the main tasting room and, after an initial beer, SweetWater staff will take you on a tour of the main production brewery, packaging line, lab, and conditioning warehouse. On the tour, you’ll sample a keg packaged that day and finish the afternoon in SweetWater’s barrel aging facility for more samples. Transportation to and from the Atlanta Marriott Marquis will be provided.
