Cindy, you have the floor. Tell us about yourself, and how it all started.
What is your role at Oskar Blues Brewery?
I’m one of the lab technicians at Oskar Blues Austin (AKA the analytical assassins) and we’re in charge of maintaining the highest quality of all our beers.
How did you get started in the brewing industry?
I graduated with a chemistry degree and knew I wanted to be around the brewing industry so I took a job in the Oskar Blues tap room until I could transition into the lab/QC department.
What’s your favorite beer style to drink?
I’ve really been feeling the Pilsners recently!
What’s the best part of being a brewer or working in the brewing industry?
I love the people in this industry. I have met some of the most passionate, hardworking, innovative, crazy and fun people through this career.
What do you like to do when you’re not at work?
I try to get outside and out of my comfort zone as much as possible. I love traveling, camping, yoga and catching up with old friends.
