Abstract
Welcome to issue 3 of volume 54 of the Master Brewer’s Technical Quarterly. We have concluded a wonderful conference in Atlanta—one of the best attended ever with 750 people. There were many fine papers and posters presented, and there should be a wealth of information being published in the TQ in the coming months. The vision of the MBAA is to be the globally recognized knowledge authority in brewing science, technology, and operations—dedicated to the concept of United We Brew™. The MBAA intends to achieve this vision by leading in brewing education and technical information, by leveraging our collective resources in the brewing community, and thereby offering continuous improvement to the processes and products of our members. The Master Brewers TQ is about sharing the information and innovation that improves our brewing and our beers. It is all about members serving members. Any of us can do it. I encourage you to email me if you have an idea for an article but are hesitant at undertaking such a seemingly daunting task. I am here to help; send me a concept and an outline, and I will help you put it together.
