Abstract
As a former keg salesman, I have been asked hundreds of times if there is an efficient and cost-effective way to track kegs. In 2009 there weren’t really any options. Today there are a lot of keg tracking providers out there, but it can be a challenge for brewers to understand the advantages, disadvantages, and limitations of the different services being offered. In today’s cluttered marketplace, brewers need to understand the difference in technologies and the claims made by each, but they also need to understand what is
not being said, and why.
