Abstract
Data is critical to brewing production operations, and effectively examining this data also is fundamental. This article summarizes the different approaches to data analytics and what their advantages and disadvantages are. Examples are shared for both brewing and packaging areas of a brewery. This review explores the different approaches to data analytics, with or without the use of the newest tools available to us today. From this review, teams will be able to make more informed decisions about what approach they use to ensure better process improvement outcomes.
