Abstract
Stan Hieronymus interviewed Alicia Adler, director of the Hop Research Council (HRC), regarding her role in the organization and what she has learned working with hop growers and dealers and with brewers. They spoke about trends in hop breeding and research, as well as funding and new initiatives. They also discussed new efforts in sustainability; emerging trends and challenges in the brewing industry; and how organizations such as the HRC can support the industry.
